April 2011 @ Artist Retreat- Wildflowers growing wild all over the mountains. Dogwoods blooming all over. Wisteria blooms for about a week, then disappears again. Getting ready for Spring Fling at Mentone Springs Hotel and the Annual Art at the Barn at Sweet Seasons Farm, both in early May.

Here is 4/8/2010 ... Mouse-over photo to see Azaleas bloom (April 20th)
Wisteria bloomed out around 4/15/10, then was all off the vines and on the ground by about 4/25/10.

April is a great month to visit Mentone!
Wildflowers starting to bloom all over make it a beautiful area to just wander around.
Temperatures are still a bit cool and very comfortable for just sitting on the front porch swing and watching the world go by.
